Originally by: Harcosi They already did take a leaf from Sony's book. And that's why we're so concerned. They haven't taken a leaf. They've taken the whole book.

TQ will no doubt be split into shards within a year. Sony prefer sharded servers and if you look at the figures you'll find its the most popular industry standard model

Originally by: Tinneus Nor Client side hacks are bad, but it's unlikely that they would allow an unauthenticated client to send GM/bug-hunter requests no matter how hacked, so it would be limited to eye candy (ooh look at all the shiny but...

Edited by: Opus Dai on 04/07/2010 03:03:19 Python injection is as common as muck in this game and affects almost every aspect of Eve. Anyone who trades in goods of limited supply will instantly notice a sudden massive drop in competition foll...

I heard CCP Atlas was doing some rigorous testing in V-NL3K last night How's that going? Still aware of the problem? Good. See you in another couple of months then.

16. New Dev Blog: We Are Aware of the Problem - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Looks to me like CCP is going out of its way to indicate they shafted a small section of the playerbase and there's nothing they can ever do about it. I preferred it when trolling used to be confined to only players on COAD.

Maybe stop recruiting Game Designers from the playerbase, could lead to a slightly more professional approach - which in CCPs case is not difficult. It also may mean I won't have to login to the forum 3 times just to post something. That said, it...
